Glisse 40
This is Christophe Chedal Anglay's take on the 40 foot long LT40 - whose hull shape it shares. The pictures show a radical departure in design terms for which there is little parallel outside the world of planing-hulled boats.
In common with the original version, however, this boat will provide a smooth, efficient and silent ride at anything between 0 and about 20 knots (beyond which the a hull optimised for full planing speeds would be a more logical choice).
In common with any of the small scale LDL hulls this would be a perfect candidate for the application of an electric drive system to offer the ultimate in silent operation. This configuration would be ideal for operation in environmentally sensitive locations or perhaps as a superyacht tender.
